Phillip Jeffries recently hosted a fun-filled event that brought together employees and their children for a memorable "Bring Your Kids To Work Day." This special occasion allowed the youngsters to step into the vibrant world of wallcovering.
Our guests, aptly called "PJr's," were warmly greeted by members of the Talent Department and then set out on a tour of Phillip Jeffries, which would soon become their playground for the day. The children saw everything from the bustling warehouse and showroom to the Marketing and Design Departments.
The air buzzed with excitement as the group split into two, each engaging in a series of interactive activities tailored to their interests and age groups. Some of the kids participated in word games and PJ-themed coloring sheets. They were asked about their day for quick video commentaries and written job sheets, encouraging them to reflect on their experiences and highlight their most enjoyable moments. The answers were both hilarious and poignant!
A special thank you to Courtney Hooper, the Assistant Supply Chain Manager, who showcased her creativity by designing and creating the fabulous T-shirts for our guests. The children proudly wore their custom-made shirts, displaying their connection to the Phillip Jeffries family.
This year's "Bring Your Kids To Work Day" at Phillip Jeffries was a wonderful experience that left lasting memories for both the children and their parents. It not only provided a glimpse into what their parents do every day, but we hope it also instilled a sense of curiosity, creativity, and ambition in the young minds that walked through the doors of Phillip Jeffries HQ.
