Designer Dollhouse: A Wallcovering Masterpiece in Miniature

For a local charity, these designers use Phillip Jeffries to bring big style to designer dollhouses.

Designer Dollhouse: A Wallcovering Masterpiece in Miniature

Welcome to La Petite Maison, a miniature reimagining of the traditional showhouse. Think scaled‑down couture: bespoke furnishings, architectural details, and luxurious Phillip Jeffries wallcovering that prove great design has no size limit.

La Petite Maison Atlanta
This showhouse is unlike any other! Created by an inspiring lineup of Atlanta’s top interior design firms, each petite residence became a fully realized, highly curated expression of style. Each year La Petite Maison places these designer dollhouses in local boutiques and small businesses across the city, turning each space into a charming gallery of craftsmanship. After two weeks on display, the houses were auctioned off at a luncheon gala, raising an impressive $6,500 each to benefit the Boyce L. Ansley School, a private, tuition‑free institution supporting children who are currently or have previously experienced homelessness.

The standout design moments included two participating designers who incorporated Phillip Jeffries wallcovering in their miniature interiors. Even at a small-scale, the textures, patterns, and materials of the wallcovering brought depth and dimension, proving that Phillip Jeffries can transform any space, even one measured in inches rather than feet!

A. Wooten Interiors Brings the French Riviera to Atlanta
The A. Wooten Interiors team spent more than 1,000 hours designing their Villa Riviera dollhouse inspired by the new clay-tile roof Chanel boutique in St. Tropez. SHOP Extra Fine Arrowroot

To create an atmosphere of relaxed, coastal airiness, the team used designer Anna Wooten Loggins’ favorite of Phillip Jeffries’ wallcoverings in the two-story foyer: Extra Fine Arrowroot grasscloth. “We were looking for something with a strong texture but not pattern that translated into the Mediterranean vibe so that particular wallcovering just spoke to us,” said Anna.

This was their third install of the Extra Fine Arrowroot grasscloth, and Anna said it’s her go-to for texture. “We always consider it for each project. It’s the best grasscloth for texture.”

Jessica Bradley Interior’s Low Country, High Charm Designs
Owner and principal, Jessica Bradley, along with her team, created a Southern-inspired dollhouse called Juniper Bluff Isle. The project took six months and hundreds of hours to bring this tiny low country dream to life. The highlight is a luxurious 2-story library wrapped in a Phillip Jeffries textile wallcovering with a timeless herringbone pattern. Jessica Bradley Interiors wanted their dollhouse to reflect the low country coast of South Carolina with a good dose of rich color and texture that they like to add to their design projects. Tour the dollhouse below:

In the two-story library of the dollhouse, they used Phillip Jeffries
Herringbone in Blarney Red to convey vibrancy with just a hint of moodiness. “We felt it brought a rich, dimensional texture that instantly elevated the dollhouse, bringing depth without overwhelming the light, coastal feel of the design,” said Jessica.

Jessica and her team have been long time fans of Phillip Jefferies and described them as a staple of their projects thanks to their versatility. Her team’s favorite? A Phillip Jeffries wood veneer wallcovering: “We are still so in love with the Waves of Wood Veneer we used in the 2024 Holiday Showhouse. It makes such an impactful statement!” she shared.

How To Create Chic Miniature Living
These dollhouses weren’t just charming, they were impeccably styled with thoughtfully layered palettes, sophisticated material selections, and imaginative layouts. Every detail is intentional. From tiny wallpapered foyers to micro-patterned bedrooms, each vignette showcases that true style translates beautifully at any scale.

The La Petite Maison Gala continues to celebrate the joy of design while making a meaningful impact and this year’s designer dollhouses demonstrated just how chic miniature living can be.
