Phillip Jeffries Co-CEOs Philip Bershad and Jeffrey Bershad joined Dan Lambe, CEO of the Arbor Day Foundation, and Snoopy, beloved character from the iconic Peanuts comic strip by Charles M. Schulz, at the Empire State Building in New York City for a lighting ceremony that marked a meaningful moment.
For ten years, Phillip Jeffries has partnered with the Arbor Day Foundation on a beautifully simple idea: one order, one tree. It’s a small action that adds up in a big way—giving back to the landscapes that inspire us by helping future forests take root. This year, a very special guest joined the celebration: Snoopy of Peanuts fame, a longtime champion of tree planting.
This year, that promise reached a significant milestone for Phillip Jeffries. Together, we are now more than halfway to our goal of helping plant 1 million trees by 2030. Each tree represents a conscious choice to embed responsibility into everyday business with a partnership built on follow‑through.
"We are grateful for the impact we're making together," said Philip (@philipbershad) "We just hit a huge milestone of 500,000 trees planted through our 1 for 1 program, and it was an honor to get to help celebrate the impact of the Arbor Day Foundation and the beauty of our planet in such an unforgettable way.” Standing inside one of the world’s most iconic buildings, illuminated in honor of Earth Day, the moment was both grounded and forward‑looking. It was about progress and about what’s possible when sustainability is treated as an ongoing practice, not a one‑off initiative.
Through our 1:1 program, every order you place, plants a tree. It's one way we inspire a more beautiful world. Our relationship with the Arbor Day Foundation continues to evolve, guided by shared values and mutual accountability. As we look ahead, the work remains the same: steady, intentional, and rooted in impact.
We’re proud to celebrate Earth Day and ten years with the Arbor Day Foundation and are energized by what the next half‑million trees will bring!
