This year's theme focuses on renewable energy and promotes the goal to triple global electricity generation from renewable sources by the year 2030. At Phillip Jeffries, we are proud to contribute to this mission through our ongoing eco-friendly initiatives listed below.
- Renewable Energy Initiatives Our headquarters and warehouse in New Jersey are 100% powered by wind energy. This significant step not only reduces our carbon footprint but also aligns with our commitment to renewable energy sources.
- Tree Planting and Reforestation Through our partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation, Phillip Jeffries has planted over 400,000 trees worldwide. This initiative has restored 770 acres of land, removed 827 tons of air pollutants, and sequestered 216,504 metric tons of CO2. Our goal is to plant 1 million trees, and we are well on our way to achieving this milestone thanks to YOU!
- Sustainable Products We are committed to offering eco-friendly products, including our PVC Free performance wallcovering as well as recycled content and sustainable natural materials. Many categories including our Murals and Luxe Naturals collections, highlight our dedication to sustainability and provide our clients with beautiful, environmentally responsible wallcovering selections.
Phillip Jeffries Earth Month 2025 Activities
To celebrate Earth Day, we are organizing several activities that reflect our commitment to the environment:
- Native Plants Initiatives: We are headed back to the Bonsal Preserver to battle invasive species! These events not only help beautify our surroundings but also raise awareness about the importance of preserving natural habitats.
- Team Hikes: Our Eco Team regularly participates in hikes and environmental clean-ups. We kicked off the 2025 season with a beautiful hike in the Ramapo Reservation.
- Potted Plants: Showrooms are gifting basil planting kits so you can add a touch of green to your home.
