This pied-à-terre with spectacular views on Madison Avenue in New York City features smart design and Phillip Jeffries artisanal wallcovering.

Inspired by the surrounding city, interior designer Libby Langdon transformed this apartment into a luxurious and textural oasis for one lucky client utilizing wallcoverings featuring authentic wood veneer, textural rivets, and handmade grasscloths on luxurious metallic grounds.

"The springboard for the color scheme was the Chrysler Building," said Libby. "So I used silver, grey, and slate blue."

Watch NBC's Open House video to see all her great design tips and tricks.

"Using low-profile pieces for unobstructed views of New York City, high-profile pieces to take advantage of tall ceilings, and a whole lotta exquisite pattern in between, designer & friend-of-the-show
@libbylangdon brought *Big Design* to a (relatively) small space." -- as posted on Open HouseTV instagram.  And we couldn't agree more!
