When the homeowners purchased this property midway through construction, they enlisted Allison Handler Design to help make it their own and give it new life. "We knew they wanted a modern aesthetic while still keeping the house warm and cozy," Allison said. That balance informed every decision. Natural materials, layered textures, and custom details bring warmth to the home's clean architectural lines, creating spaces that feel polished without being precious. She chose a performance collection, Vinyl Renaissance. Reminiscent of a natural silk wallcovering washed in color, this unique, fluid pattern has a watercolor effect and elegant texture on performance vinyl.
"The subtle texture of the wallpaper added the perfect warm tone to envelope the dining room in," said Allison. "The result is a space that feels cozy and luxurious, perfect for a candle-lit dinner."

The finished home feels both modern and welcoming with white oak beams, slat walls, brass baluster sleeves, and black architectural accents that add character and distinction. "We added in special details to really make the house feel more custom," Allison said.
