# New For Summer: Inspired By An Escape To Mykonos
*This new specialty wallcovering collection is handcrafted by artisans.*
This Mediterranean-inspired design is a modern take on a classic aesthetic. Learn how it's made and where to use it. Whether you're designing a serene retreat or a statement-making entryway, this specialty wallcovering offers a refined yet relaxed aesthetic that transports you to a breezy island escape.
Inspired by the sun-drenched charm of the Aegean coast, our new **Mykonos** collection is a modern interpretation of timeless Mediterranean design. Handcrafted by skilled artisans, each panel features a multi-layer crackle technique that creates a painted, organic look with a fine, tactile texture—bringing depth and dimension to any space.
Learn More About Crackle Paint Texture
Crackle paint is a decorative finish that mimics the natural weathering of painted surfaces, creating a network of fine lines and fissures that evoke age, texture, and depth. In the context of wallcoverings like Mykonos, this effect is achieved through a multi-layer artisanal process that builds up layers of pigment and glaze, then allows them to dry at different rates—resulting in a beautifully unpredictable, organic pattern
Whether used in a coastal-inspired setting or a more minimalist interior, crackle finishes bring a sense of artistry and authenticity that’s hard to replicate with flat paint or prints.
