Phillip Jeffries Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month

Written by Phillip Jeffries | Oct 13, 2022 8:17:30 PM

In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, Phillip Jeffries recognizes our Hispanic colleagues for their unique contributions to interior design. We are continually reminded that we are better and stronger together!

Each year, Americans observe National Hispanic Heritage Month from September 15 to October 15, by celebrating the histories, cultures and contributions of American citizens whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central and South America.

Please join us in celebrating Hispanic design
 legacy worldwide.

Natalia Zubizarretta
Based in Northern Spain, the team behind Natalia Zubizarreta Interiorismo strives to make your dreams come true. Their goal is to design interiors that are warm, charming spaces with a soul that are also tailored to your budget, technical requirements, and style.

Below she uses Common Threads in Peaceful Breeze for an entryway. A gorgeous textile wallcovering, Common Threads is i
nspired by Tibetan Buddhist prayer shawls. It's made from heathered yarns woven to create a unique stripe with subtle coloring.

Veronica Mimoun
Veronica Mimoun Studio is an interior design studio led by Veronica Mimoun that creates sophisticated and practical living spaces through detail-driven focus and creative solutions. They provide complete interior design services and work diligently to create long-lasting designs that are thoughtful and functional. Through insightful observation and clear communication, Veronica assesses each client's needs.

A mix of natural and metallic materials, Veronica uses Phillip Jeffries Sanctuary in Emerald Haven for a dining room. This textured, specialty wallcovering is made from woven authentic banana bark and paper in a bold stripe pattern with wabi-sabi flair.

Handwoven with twice as much fiber for consistent coloring, Phillip Jeffries' Extra Fine Arrowroot in Fog looks chic in the bedroom below designed by Veronica Mimoun. Lustrous and strong, our arrowroot grasscloth wallcoverings have the look of raw silk in a natural grass.

We are thrilled to work with the entire Spanish design community and wish we could have been in Madrid yesterday to view the parade and celebrate The National Day of Spain (October 12th), also known as the Día de la Hispanidad. It's a holiday commemorating Spanish legacy worldwide, especially in Hispanic America.
