PJ STEPS TO SUCCESS

1. Be Neat and Gentle

Avoid rushing the process. Overworking the material can lead to visible seams and damage. Handle each strip with care, respecting the integrity of the fabric or paper.

2. Skip the Squeegee

A squeegee may seem like a quick fix, but it’s too harsh for delicate wallcoverings. Instead, use a soft brush and work with the grain of the material to smooth it out.

3. Seam Roller Caution

Seam rollers can help, but apply light pressure. Heavy rolling can distort patterns or leave marks on vibrant surfaces.

4. The Colored Pencil Trick

For seams that need a little camouflage, a colored pencil matching the wallcovering can work wonders. Lightly shade the seam for a subtle blend.

5. Overworked Material? Here’s the Solution

If you’ve gone too far and the material looks stressed, stop immediately. Sometimes less is more—don’t try to “fix” it aggressively.

6. Hang Three Strips and Pause

To maintain consistency and avoid fatigue, hang three strips at a time, then step back. This break helps you spot issues early and keep the finish flawless.
