The Truth About Artisanal Wallcovering Patterns
A handcrafted wallcovering adds a layer of luxury and texture to a space. It can turn a room into a conversation piece. These unique wallcoverings are handcrafted using natural materials which means they can sometimes be irregular. It's one of the things that make them so beautiful. Our wallcoverings are only as beautiful as the installation so it's important to get it right.

How To Start
When engineering a room for an installation, there are a few key things to keep in mind. In highly visible areas, start your installation at eye level. One of the most asked things by our clients and installers: if it's not going to match perfectly then where should we start? Dennis advises starting in the middle so you have less room for unmatched parts at the top and also at the bottom of a wall. Engineer a room in a way that's most appealing for that space.  Learn more in the video above.

Below is an installation of Phillip Jeffries Cape Town. Inspired by the p
eaks and valleys of coastal cape town, this boldly-scaled basket weave wallcovering is hancrafted with authentic water hyacinth. As you can see, it panels beautifully.
