Interior designer Jaimee Rose doesn’t just design rooms—she captures moments. In a recent project for a young client with a heart full of pink and a personality that sparkles, Jaimee created a bedroom so meaningful, the family is taking a piece of it with them.
As they prepare to move, one element is being preserved: a framed remnant of the Phillip Jeffries wallcovering that transformed the space into a storybook dream. “We’re going to frame a remnant of this wallpaper for her new room,” said Jamie, principal of
Jamiee Rose Interiors in Arizona. “To give her a token of these years and this magical moment of her childhood.”
A Room Inspired by Joy
The bedroom was designed for a little girl who, in Jaimee’s words, “is strawberry ice cream and cotton candy rolled into a tiny body and topped with giant pink bows.” Her love of pink wasn’t just a preference—it was a personality. “She calls me ‘Auntie Jaimee.’ I bring her nail polish and she gives me notes on her room. I adore her.”
The starting point? A bed upholstered in a rich raspberry velvet. “It’s the star,” Jaimee says. “It’s as bright as her personality.” Around it, a palette of soft blush tones and layered textures created a space that felt both playful and polished—an elegant tribute to childhood wonder.

Designing Without Fear
The client, like her daughter, embraced boldness. “She wanted things no one had seen before,” Jaimee explains. “The client likes BIG design statements, has no fear, and trusts me implicitly.” That trust allowed Jaimee to push boundaries and create a home filled with joy, irreverence, and individuality—where pink wasn’t just a color, but a design philosophy.
The Power of Pattern
To bring the vision to life, Jaimee turned to a trusted favorite: Phillip Jeffries. “We found the wallpaper at John Brooks in Scottsdale. PJ is a go-to and favorite of our team,” she says. The wallcovering added a layer of sophistication and texture that elevated the room from charming to unforgettable. It became more than a backdrop—it became part of the story.
A Keepsake of ChildhoodNow, as the home changes hands, the memory of this magical space will live on. “Everyone is thrilled,” Jaimee says. “The house is now for sale, and we’re dreaming up a new room for this magical little creature.” But one thing will remain constant: a framed piece of that beloved walllcovering, a tangible reminder of a room that meant everything.
