A Closer Look At The Walls Of ELLE DECOR'S New Penthouse
It's been an exciting week in New York City real estate! We're thrilled to share that the ELLE DECOR Penthouse at 53 w 53 is complete and includes four show stopping installations of Phillip Jeffries wallcovering through the space. Read on to discover the cosmopolitan allure of Dojo Weave, Ripples, Sculpted Wood, & Velvet Vibes in this fabulously modern skyscraper.

As featured in the March issue of ELLE Decor, the soaring 1,050-foot-high residential building is also a neighbor to the Museum of Modern Art and includes a private restaurant, movie theater, pool, and more.  The property was developed by Pontiac Land Group and Hines and executed by the Paris-based Pritzker Prize–winning architect Jean Nouvel. ELLE DECOR A-List designer Joe Nahem, of Fox-Nahem Associates, based in New York, brought the space to life.

It is the perfect combination of city and culture coming together in one location. As quoted in the magazine "Nahem, for his part, describes the lofty listing as a sort of trifecta: 'You’ve got art, architecture, and that view—what else is there?'"

The primary bedroom is softer in contrast, featuring an all-white palette and an adjacent walk-in closet and bathroom. The wallcovering is Phillip Jeffries Sculpted Wood.

In the secondary bedroom, Phillip Jeffries Dojo Weave wraps the walls from floor to ceiling. The headboard wall is the perfect place for art and texture.

A detailed shot of the entrance of the secondary bedroom features Dojo Weave in a rich blue that wraps the ceiling and walls.

A soft, flowing moment in a modern penthouse. Here, Phillip Jeffries Ripples wallcovering wraps the reading nook in swirling color.
