Women-founded, women-led, women-created! London-based design firm Th2 Designs was founded by Gail Taylor and Sheila El-Hadery more than 20 years ago.
Making Their Mark on Design
Known for crafting exceptionally designed homes in a natural, relaxed, and always luxurious style, Th2 Designs credits much of their success to an amazing team of 14 women for its growth to becoming one of the leading design firms in London. This year’s International Women’s Day has turned into a month-long celebration including celebrations for two team birthdays, two new Th2 babies, and two engagements.

A Notting Hill Bedroom
Tucked away at the end of a row of houses in fashionable Notting Hill, Th2 Designs transformed this space from a blank canvas into a stylish-yet-comfortable London escape for their returning clients.
"We converted the top floor from an awkward attic space into a dream master bedroom suite with an open planning sitting area, ensuite bathroom, and walk-in dressing room linked to the main bedroom."
Th2 chose Phillip Jeffries’ Parisian Cloth in Knight Skies as the perfect pairing for this bedroom set into the eaves of the townhouse. This wool wallcovering is meticulously felted and woven into a design, treated with a stain repellent finish, and panels beautifully. Designing Soothing & Sophisticated Bedrooms
For another project, Th2 summoned the Côte d'Azur for a client's bedroom suite. They used Phillip Jeffries Vinyl Abaca wallcovering in Olive Leaf to reflect the tranquil Mediterranean surroundings. The multi-tonal texture in this Type II performance vinyl wallcovering has the look and feel of a handcrafted, natural material.

Designer Color Tip

Th2 Designs chose Phillip Jeffries Driftwood wallcovering in Twilight Blue for contemporary Notting Hill townhouse as it is hard-wearing without sacrificing aesthetics. Our paper weaves have the highest color consistency and are virtually seamless. Paper weaves are perfect if you love the look of a natural, but not the paneling that may come with it.
Glamorous, Luxurious, and Function Living Room
“We were on the lookout for something that created warmth and sophistication,” said Th2 Designs when they chose the striking Studs and Stripes in Horizontal. The ground, Canvas Linen in Oxford Blue, was the perfect color to add an element of glamour. Inspired by a luxurious upholstered wall, the horizontal stripe pattern features precise raised-rivet designs in unique color combinations and patterns.
The gold details of the Studs and Stripes wallcovering complemented the brass fixtures and accents of the bar area, creating a cohesive feel in the space.
