# Barbiecore: A Viral Decor Trend We're Loving

Thanks to the recent Barbie-inspired trend that's taking the design world by storm, pink is having a moment...again. From high end designers and creators to newspapers and brands, the hyper-feminine style is flooding our feeds and making a powerful statement. After a deep dive through our archives, we found that hot pink, glossy, and retro-inspired interiors with Phillip Jeffries wallcoverings are timeless. And the trend, aptly dubbed “*Barbiecore*” may be here to stay.
How It Started
The short answer is, it began with a movie.
