Barbiecore: A Viral Decor Trend We're Loving

Thanks to the recent Barbie-inspired trend that's taking the design world by storm, pink is having a moment...again. From high end designers and creators to newspapers and brands, the hyper-feminine style is flooding our feeds and making a powerful statement. After a deep dive through our archives, we found that hot pink, glossy, and retro-inspired interiors with Phillip Jeffries wallcoverings are timeless. How It Started
The short answer is, it began with a movie. "When photos of the upcoming Greta Gerwig live-action “Barbie” movie from Warner Bros. — with Margot Robbie in the title role and Ryan Gosling as Ken — trickled out earlier this summer, social media influencers were ready to embrace the beloved plastic doll and her look," reports the Washington Post. "As of Tuesday, TikTok has registered 19 million views for #barbiecore."
